The CB Serie consists of three
types, which represent the range covering, the principle codes used.
They are intended for printed circuit mounting, and benefit from
our technical expertise, from the point of view of both material
quality (silver plate bronze contacts, NORYL insulation) and assembling
methods).
As the switch-body is not sealed,
solvents should not be used for cleaning. There are threaded bush
versions enabling panel fixing with or without sealing. The stop,
which can be adjusted by the user, enables one to start the code
in any position.
The main standard codes are
explained in details in the grids.
- Model CB 12, working on
12 bits, permits the decoding of a seven-segment display with,
in parallel, any other code or the possibility of having
three different codes.
- Model CB 8, working on 8
bits, permits one to obtain a code plus its complement or two
different codes.
- Model CB 4, working on 4
bits, can only accomodate one code.
These three models can be supplied
with 10, 12 or 16 positions on the shaft (at an angle of 36°,
30° or 22°30') with or without a stop plate.
The range is not limited top
the codes defined above; any code can be made to order; to this
end, just fill a programming grill similar to the blank grid which
is to be found on the sheet attached to each model.
Please note that, in our grids,
the start position is referred to 1 instead or 0, and that a black
dot represents an electrical contact between the input and the output.
Important note: On these
models, each pair of contacts is separate. Model CB 4, for example,
has four pairs without any «commons» - these have to
be incorporated on the printed circuit board.
